EasyAudit: Autonomous SOC 2 and ISO 27001 Compliance

EasyAudit's tagline is "Compliance that runs itself." Rather than selling software for a team to operate, it takes over a company's information security compliance programme, with a named expert and an AI Compliance Officer doing the work, and guarantees audit readiness by a date or no fee.[1]

What it is

A compliance service, delivered through software

EasyAudit "gets B2B companies audit-ready by a committed date, then keeps them ready every day." It runs the recurring work of an information security compliance programme: writing policies, mapping controls, running risk assessments, collecting evidence and coordinating with the auditor. The client's team reviews and signs, which EasyAudit puts at under ten hours a year.[2][1]

Its starting point is a capacity problem: "Audit work is growing. Your team is not." EasyAudit argues that compliance software still leaves the work with the client's people, and consultants leave when the engagement ends, so readiness is rebuilt before every audit. It calls its alternative "Autonomous Compliance".[1]

EasyAudit lists insurance, life sciences, financial services, data centres, call centres and BPO, enterprise software and professional services among the industries it serves.[1][7]

Frameworks

Seven frameworks, one control library

EasyAudit maps one control set across every framework, so that, in its words, "Implement a control once and it satisfies every framework that asks for it." Its cost calculator also covers HIPAA.[1][5]

SOC 1

For service organisations whose work affects customers' financial reporting.[2]

SOC 2

Type I attests to controls at a point in time; Type II to how they operated over a period.[2]

ISO 27001

The international certification for an information security management system.[2]

ISO 42001

The management system standard for artificial intelligence.[2]

ISO 9001

Quality management, often a contractual condition in supply chains.[2]

NIST CSF 2.0

A voluntary framework used as a common language for security posture.[2]

CMMC

Required across the US defence supply chain for controlled unclassified information.[2]

How it works

"One service. Three parts."

In EasyAudit's words: "The expert owns it. The officer executes it. The platform remembers it."[1]

01

Dedicated compliance lead

A named expert who leads the engagement, applies judgement, coordinates people and auditors, and stays accountable. EasyAudit says clients hear from them every two days.[1][3]

02

AI Compliance Officer

Performs the recurring work: monitoring controls across cloud configuration, identity, access, code, vendors and devices; generating control language; collecting timestamped evidence; detecting drift and drafting fixes.[1][3]

03

EasyAudit platform

Holds the programme's context, evidence, decisions and status, with one control library mapped across every framework in scope.[1][3]

The operating loop

  1. Monitor→
  2. Reason→
  3. Propose→
  4. Human gate→
  5. Execute→
  6. Learn

Monitoring, correlation and evidence collection run without a person in the path. Anything that becomes a compliance assertion passes the human gate, where a named person approves it; approvals are logged with who and when, and kept for seven years.[1][3]

Safeguards

"Would an auditor trust this?"

EasyAudit says independent CPA auditors co-designed its evidence standards, control architecture and risk methodology before the platform generated its first control. Its trust page describes four layers: the agentic system, human gates on controls, risks, documents and evidence, a database-level audit trail kept for seven years, and a read-only view for the auditor.[4]

What the AI Compliance Officer never does

  • ✕Write an auditor's conclusion
  • ✕Fabricate evidence, board minutes or any record of an event that did not happen
  • ✕Attest to compliance
  • ✕Change the production environment on its own
  • ✕Turn an output into a compliance assertion without a named person activating it

From the "What It Never Does" specification on EasyAudit's AI Compliance Officer page.[3]

Cost

EasyAudit pricing against the traditional route

EasyAudit does not publish a fixed price list. Its cost calculator shows typical year-one costs by component; the traditional-route ranges are attributed to BD Emerson, Scrut and Vendr (September 2026, companies under 100 people), and EasyAudit's range to its own engagements.[5]

Typical year-one compliance costs, as published by EasyAudit
ComponentYear oneApplies to
Readiness and implementation consultant$15k–$40kTraditional route only
Compliance software$8k–$20kTraditional route only
Your team's time$10k–$40kTraditional route only
EasyAudit (one framework, standard industry)$15k–$25kEasyAudit route
SOC 2 Type I audit$7k–$25kBoth, paid to the audit firm
SOC 2 Type II audit$12k–$45kBoth, paid to the audit firm
Penetration test$8k–$25kBoth, paid to the pentest vendor

EasyAudit says second and later frameworks price at about 60% of the first, and that SOC 2 Type I and Type II count as two. Regulated industries such as healthcare, finance, insurance, defence, data centres and gaming carry more evidence and cost.[5]

Guarantee and simulation

"Audit-ready by the date. Or you do not pay."

For eligible engagements, EasyAudit commits at signature to a date by which the organisation will be audit-ready and submitted to an independent auditor; if it misses the date, the client does not pay. It is explicit that "the auditor alone determines the audit result" and the guarantee covers readiness and submission, not the opinion or certification.[1][6]

After the first audit cycle, the AI Compliance Officer runs a daily internal compliance audit, 365 days a year.[1]

The free Compliance Simulation

About 75 minutes of the client's time, across two calls, run on the real environment. EasyAudit ingests the current programme, connects systems, models the environment, diagnoses gaps, maps the path and commits to a date.[1]

  1. Ingest
  2. Connect
  3. Model
  4. Diagnose
  5. Map
  6. Commit

The output is a readiness score, gap list, scope, budget and date, and "the report is yours either way."[1]

FAQs

Questions about EasyAudit

What is EasyAudit?

EasyAudit (easyaudit.ai) is an autonomous compliance service for information security frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 42001, ISO 9001, NIST CSF 2.0, SOC 1 and CMMC. A dedicated compliance expert and an AI Compliance Officer run the recurring compliance work, writing policies, mapping controls, collecting evidence and monitoring systems, while the client's team reviews and signs.

Is EasyAudit statutory audit software for CA firms?

No. EasyAudit's website describes information security and quality compliance programmes, not statutory financial audits under the Companies Act or tax audits. Its frameworks are SOC 1, SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 42001, ISO 9001, NIST CSF 2.0 and CMMC, and the final audit or certification is issued by an independent auditor.

How much does EasyAudit cost?

EasyAudit's cost calculator gives a year-one range of $15,000 to $25,000 for one framework in a standard industry, based on its own engagements. It says second and later frameworks cost about 60% of the first. The independent audit itself, such as a SOC 2 Type II audit, is paid separately to the audit firm.

What is the EasyAudit audit-ready guarantee?

For eligible engagements, EasyAudit commits at signature to a date by which the organisation will be audit-ready and submitted to an independent auditor. If it misses that date, the client does not pay. EasyAudit states that the auditor alone determines the audit result; the guarantee covers readiness and submission, not the opinion or certification.

What is the EasyAudit Compliance Simulation?

A free diagnostic run on the client's real environment, taking about 75 minutes of the client's time across two calls. It ends with a readiness score, a gap list, the scope, a price and a committed date, and EasyAudit says the report is the client's to keep either way.

How much time does EasyAudit need from the client's team?

EasyAudit says under ten hours a year. The client's team supplies business knowledge, reviews key decisions and signs where its authority is required; EasyAudit carries the recurring work.

Who owns EasyAudit?

EasyAudit Inc. Its terms of service provide for the jurisdiction of courts in Delaware, and privacy requests go to info@easyaudit.ai. The website does not name the company's founders.
